Matt Dornfeld

This shot of Matt,a local band manager, is from a portrait series that I started shooting last summer. All of the photos were shot in my enclosed porch using existing light. Unfortunately, the people that I rent from decided to remodel the porch and in doing so they replaced all the windows. Before the light had its own unique quality anytime of the day, this one was shot mid afternoon when the sun was at its highest. Now that they replaced the original big windows that let all this awesome light in, with two small crappy windows, it ruined my hopes of continuing this simple and sweet series...
